About us
Introduction

At the heart of our mission lies the urgent need to tackle peak energy demand , a critical barrier to achieving climate neutrality .

This campaign is rooted in the belief that collaboration is essential for creating sustainable solutions.
To reflect this, we have assembled a coalition of three dedicated organizations – the European Climate Foundation, European Insulation Manufacturers Association, and International Copper Association Europe – each representing a crucial stakeholder in achieving climate neutrality.

Our goal is to raise awareness about the significance of managing peak energy demand and to promote strategies that make climate neutrality both achievable and affordable for everyone.

  • European Insulation Manufacturers Association

    European Insulation Manufacturers Association

Established in 1959 to create a favourable business environment for mineral wool insulation and promote improved standards for insulation materials, European Insulation Manufacturers Association (Eurima) is a research-driven organisation whose industry members produce a wide range of mineral wool products for thermal and acoustic insulation, providing fire protection of domestic and commercial buildings and industrial facilities while offering innovative growing media and green-roofing solutions.

Open Energy Transition

As an environmental think tank, OET conducts research, analysis, and develops open-source tools and methodologies to drive the global energy transition towards 100% renewable energy. Simultaneously, as a software company, OET focuses on the development, provision and support of open-source software solutions that enhance energy transition planning and decision-making processes. By combining the roles of a think tank and a software company, OET brings together unique expertise in environmental sustainability and software development to facilitate the transition to a sustainable energy future.

our campaign vision

Our common goal

We're a coalition of three organizations united by a common goal: to empower EU policymakers to recognise the full benefits greener, smarter, and more efficient buildings have on the entire energy system by reducing peak demand.
By quantifying the social, security, and economic benefits of renovation measures, we aim to make peak demand a widely understood and relevant issue. As the cost of living and energy crises continue, we believe it's imperative to educate consumers about the potential impacts of peak demand and the practical solutions available through home renovations.

Together, we are committed to quantifying and communicating the social, security, and economic benefits of better buildings, helping to reduce peak demand needs and ensuring a climate neutral future for all.
